Educational management encompasses the processes that organizations apply to achieve objectives and strengthen the school environment. This research aims to identify characteristics, values, and leadership of the educational manager through descriptive review and surveys, to design a training project that improves the leadership of authorities and teachers. A quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental, and cross-sectional methodology was used, applying inductive-deductive, analytical-synthetic, and statistical methods. A survey with a questionnaire was conducted on 50 participants. The results show limitations in administrative educational management, outdated practices, little leadership practice, obsolete methodologies, limited induction plans, lack of promotion of Good Living environments, and little implementation of teacher monitoring mechanisms. It is concluded that it is important to develop training projects led by the educational management of the main authorities to improve the leadership of authorities and teachers, which will positively achieve the proposed objectives. The study proposes a comprehensive training project to strengthen leadership skills in the institution.
