This research analyzes the use of ICT tools and educational technology platforms in the distance education modality, used by universities in post-pandemic times. Based on the advantages that technology offers for the teaching-learning process, the objective is to describe its use at the National Experimental Polytechnic University of the National Bolivarian Armed Force (UNEFA) in the Zulia Nucleus during the maximum isolation due to COVID-19. A quantitative positivist approach was applied, with a descriptive and field design, applying a questionnaire to a sample of 117 teachers and students. The results reveal a great consensus in adopting a blended modality, using platforms such as Google Classroom and tools such as Telegram, facilitating economic aspects and the recovery of the university infrastructure. It is concluded that the official change to blended modality is feasible, taking advantage of the high global connectivity and the use of mobile devices, guaranteeing the academic continuity.
