This essay addresses the integration of emotion in education, highlighting its importance for full human development. It examines the perspectives of Morin (1992) on complexity, Maturana (1993) regarding emotion as the foundation of action, and Camps (2011) on emotion in the formation of beliefs. In this regard, Céspedes (2013) and Delgado (2010) emphasize the relevance of emotions in learning and the need for an education that promotes emotional well-being. The analysis suggests that educating in both emotion and reason is vital for facing current challenges.
