Epistemological features of Claude Lévi-Strauss's work

The paradigm of structuralist thinking has been the subject of discussion since the 20th century, managing to remain, among other paradigms, given its ability to explain the phenomena of both the human sciences and the social sciences. Claude Lévi-Strauss (1908-2009) is one of the greatest exponents of anthropology and, in fact, some authors consider him his father. Likewise, it is also necessary to recognize that it has been a point of disagreement and criticism, given the limitations it has when it comes to explaining reality, especially due to its tendency towards the ahistorical; In any case, it has epistemological features that give it a unique character. This brief essay seeks to present some of these features, as well as organize some of its main contributions.
