Education in Times of Pandemic: Some Conflicts and Pending Tasks

The essay delves into conflict management in the school environment, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. It highlights the need to change the negative perception of conflict and proposes creative and peaceful approaches for its resolution. The importance of analyzing each conflict uniquely, considering people, processes, and problems involved, is underscored. Advocacy is made for the active participation of all school stakeholders, including teachers, authorities, students, and parents. The writing reflects on the necessity of integrating pedagogical and socioemotional strategies, as well as the development of digital competencies to address current educational challenges. It concludes with calls to use conflict as an opportunity for learning and positive change in educational institutions.
