Motivation and satisfaction: influential psychological variables in virtual academic performance

The educational system undergoes a process of constant transition that implies innovation in learning methodologies and although traditional education has been including technology in its daily practices, they have not been enough since it has become the main instrument of education. online. This modality of education, the virtual one, becomes a challenge not only for teachers but also for students, accustomed to the traditional system, facing family contexts, personal situations that must be faced and has repercussions in the emotional field where, the Motivation and satisfaction are the main link to achieve adequate academic performance. The methodology proposed in this research is qualitative with a descriptive approach based on a documentary bibliographic review process with the support of the random survey technique to a study sample of 1113 university students whose objective allowed to determine the influence of the variables. psychological motivation and satisfaction in virtual performance, achieving as a result the analysis of the level of incidence of the variables motivation and satisfaction; proposing proposals that allow them to be included in the current curriculum and incorporate constructs and techno-pedagogical models to improve performance in virtual learning.
