This study examines the impact of continuous training on educational quality in Ecuadorian technical schools. Through a quantitative analysis based on surveys of 30 teachers from various technical specialties, the effectiveness of training programs and motivational factors for teacher participation were evaluated. Results reveal high participation in continuous training programs, with only 6.7% of teachers not participating in any program. The Mecapacito platform (66.7%) and national universities (53.3%) were the most used options. 90% of respondents completed the training individually. The main barriers identified were the scarcity of relevant programs for the technical area (53.3%) and the lack of institutional incentives (33.3%). Most teachers perceived an improvement in teaching quality (83.4% strongly agree or agree) and student academic outcomes (80%) due to continuous training. It is concluded that, despite its positive impact, it is necessary to adapt and diversify training programs to meet the specific needs of technical education.
