Analyzing the professional and social profile of Ecuadorians aged 25 to 64 with university education in relation to the general population of the same age in Ecuador, several questions arise regarding the distribution of education levels in this population and their relationship with geographic, gender, ethnic, and employment status factors. The age range of 25 to 64 was chosen because it is the productive age where people typically finish their studies and can work (OECD, 2021).
