This study analyzes the correlations between the Technological, Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) and the sociodemographic variables of gender and years of experience in university teaching, in southern Ecuador. A TPACK questionnaire was applied to university professors and statistical correlation analyzes were carried out. The results show agreement in the statements of the questionnaire and that the Content Knowledge (CK) dimension obtained the highest average, while the Technological Knowledge (TK) dimension presented the lowest average. Correlationally, significant differences were found by gender and years of experience in some dimensions of the TPACK, with better results in men. In conclusion, the importance of strengthening the technological and pedagogical skills of university teachers is highlighted, considering sociodemographic differences to promote effective technological integration in university teaching in southern Ecuador. These findings contribute to the understanding of TPACK in this context and guide the design of equitable and effective professional development strategies.
