Importance of communication in the family-school relationship and the educational process

The objective of this essay is to offer a vision of the importance of communication in the school environment for the strengthening of the educational process, which is based not only on the teacher-student relationship; but also in the relationship between the teacher and parents and guardians, emphasizing the interrelation between family-school. For this, authors such as Pedroso (2000); Sarramona (2008); Restrepo (2008); Amayuela (2016); and Sánchez and Guedez (2017), among others. In this documentary research, the importance of effective and affective communication for the achievement of the educational process is also analyzed.
