This essay analyzes the influence of spirituality and organizational development as an emerging transcomplex vision in Venezuelan military social welfare management. The concepts of spirituality and their application in organizations are examined, based on diverse theoretical perspectives. In this regard, Waaijman (2011); defines spirituality as a force operating in the background of human existence. Similarly, Zohar and Marshall (2001); describe it as the ability to connect with the environment. Furthermore, Karakas (2009); notes a growing interest in spirituality among organizational professionals and researchers. Meanwhile, Villegas (2019); highlights its heterogeneous and discontinuous nature. The study explores how organizational spirituality can strengthen management in military institutions of welfare and social security. On this matter, Geaquinto and Gonçalves (2021); propose an organizational identity model based on spirituality. Additionally, Mora (2013); emphasizes the importance of recovering the human side of institutions. The methodology is based on a bibliographic review from a transcomplex approach. The conclusion is that organizational spirituality represents a valuable tool for managerial transformation, aligning with Beltrán (2018); vision of value-inspired management.
