Transformational leadership is crucial for teaching performance in educational institutions. This study aims to determine the relationship between these factors in District 09D02 of Guayaquil in 2023. A non-experimental, correlational-cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach was used. A questionnaire was administered to 225 teachers to measure transformational leadership and teaching performance. Results revealed low performance levels in institutional innovation (61.3%), professional motivation (52.4%), and institutional commitment (51.6%), while pedagogical management showed a medium level (50.7%). Spearman's correlation analysis indicated a high and positive relationship between transformational leadership and teaching performance (rho=0.746, p<0.01). It is concluded that there is a significant relationship between transformational leadership and teaching performance in District 09D02. Implementing strategies to strengthen leadership, motivate professional development, and improve teaching performance is recommended.
