Participatory action research is a methodology that in the processes of local participation has been successful in its application. In this article your application is reviewed in the Bolivarian School “The Paramito” Municipality Miranda. Estado Merida, trying to encourage democratic decision making through participatory processes where the influence of the environment on knowledge itself plays a transcendental role. In the beginning of this investigation the problem found was the weak formation processes involving the school community. So after several days of interaction with educational actors set out to educate the school community in U.E.B. “The Paramito” through participatory action research as a strategy for action sociocultural applying Community educational project. The paradigm used in research is critical - reflexive between theory and practice. The methodology used is the Participatory Action Research, Kemmis and colleagues (1988) with the Community model. According Fals Borda (1981) IAP is more related activity grassroots own research on your reality that with a responsive action research by elites outside them. Validation of the information has been obtained through the use of quality tools such as community participation, formal and informal meetings, reports, photographs, cause-effect diagram using the triangulation method that involves the use of different strategies to validate the theoretical and practical propositions at different levels of analysis.
