Keywords:
leadership, school management, organizational cultureAbstract
Leadership management and organizational culture are key elements for educational quality. This research analyzes their impact on the educational processes of the Cerro del Carmen Basic Education School in Ecuador. A field study with a mixed approach was conducted, using techniques and instruments linked to the management of qualitative and quantitative information. Semi-structured interviews were applied to the principal and Likert scale surveys to teachers and legal representatives. The results indicate that the educational leader's management has fostered an organizational culture partially suitable for organizational processes, but a comprehensive evaluation of the leadership style is required. Areas for improvement were identified in planning, coordination of pedagogical activities, resource management, and promotion of student development. The delegation of functions, pedagogical support and institutional communication also present opportunities for optimization. It is concluded that effective leadership positively affects organizational culture and the improvement of educational processes. It is recommended to implement strategies to strengthen community participation, teaching performance, comprehensive security and the achievement of institutional objectives.
